Fresh New Summer Series

With all the season finales in May it's time to take a look a that new summer series. It's time for new favorites. Below I've put together a list of series that will premiere in May, June and July. [Update 02-05-2013: Trailer King & Maxwell added]

The Family Tools
Who play the leading roles: Kyle Bornheimer (Perfect Couples), J.K. Simmons (The Closer) and Leah Remini (The King of Queens)
What's it about: The Family Tools follows Jack Shea and his bad luck streak. When his father Tony suffers a heart condition, he finds himself taking over the family hardware business. However maintaining his fathers success and proving himself worthy with his father watching his every move proves difficult.
When will it premiere: 1 May at ABC

The Goodwin Games
Who play the leading roles: Scott Foley (The Unit), Becki Newton (Ugly Betty) and T.J. Miller (Carpoolers)
What's it about: The Goodwin Games revolves around a trio of estranged siblings who return home after their father's death. The siblings will inherit $23 million if they can follow his trivial wishes, which means that they have to rediscover their lives and hopefully be the people he wanted his children to be.
When will it premiere: 20 May at FOX

Save Me
Who play the leading roles: Anne Heche (Hung)
What's it about: After a near-death experience (choking on a hero sandwich), Beth Harper is revived only to realize she now has a direct line to God.
When will it premiere: 23 May at NBC

The Fosters (2013)
Who play the leading roles: Teri Polo (Man Up!), Sherri Saum, Jake T. Austin
What's it about: The Fosters is a compelling drama about a multi-ethnic family mix of foster and biological kids being raised by two moms.
When will it premiere: 3 June at ABC Family

Mistresses (US)
Who play the leading roles: Alyssa Milano (Charmed), Yunjin Kim (Lost), Rochelle Aytes (The Forgotten) and Jes Macallan
What's it about: Mistresses (US) is about four women navigating through life, sex and relationships.
When will it premiere: 3 June at ABC

Who play the leading roles: Daniel Sunjata (Rescue Me), Aaron Tveit (Gossip Girl)
What's it about: Graceland is about a diverse group of undercover agents from the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and U.S. Customs whose worlds collide while forced to live together under the same roof of a seized beachfront mansion in Southern California called "Graceland." The series begins with Mike Warren, a by-the-books rookie who graduates at the top of his FBI class and is thrown into an unconventional assignment at Graceland, rather than the administrative DC job he requested.
When will it premiere: 6 June at USA Network

King & Maxwell
Who play the leading roles: Jon Tenney (Major Crimes) en Rebecca Romijn (Eastwick)
What's it about: King & Maxwell is an adaptation of the novel series King and Maxwell by David Baldacci about two former Secret Service agents who become private investigators. Sean King and Michelle Maxwell aren't your typical pair of private investigators. Their unique skill often gives them a leg up on both suspects & conventional law enforcement. He is always astep ahead and she is a force to be reckoned with. Together they're unstoppable.
When will it premiere: 10 June at TNT

Twisted (2013)
Who play the leading roles: Avan Jogia (Victorious), Maddie Hasson (The Finder) and Kylie Bunbury
What's it about: Twisted is a one-hour mystery full of twists and turns that follows Danny Desai, a charismatic 16-year-old with a troubled past who returns to his hometown after spending five years in juvenile detention. Immediately branded an outcast, Danny attempts to reconnect with histwo childhood best friends, Jo and Lacey, and to smooth over tensions with his mother Karen, whose socialite status plummeted after her son's imprisonment and the mysterious disappearance of her husband, Danny's father.

Devious Maids
Who play the leading roles: Judy Reyes (Scrubs), Ana Ortiz (Ugly Betty), Dania Ramirez (Heroes), Roselyn Sanchez (Without a Trace) and Edy Ganem
What's it about: Devious Maids is based upon the Mexican telenovela Ellas son la Alegria del Hogar and follows four Latina maids with ambition and dreams of their own work for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills.
When will it premiere: 23 June at Lifetime

Crossing Lines
Who play the leading roles: William Fichtner (Prison Break), Donald Sutherland (Dirty Sexy Money)
What's it about: Set in exotic locations around Europe, “Crossing Lines” follows a disgraced New York cop, who finds redemption after joining an international police unit based at the International Criminal Court in the Hague that investigates cross-border crimes and hunts down brutal criminals.
When will it premiere: 23 June at NBC

Under the Dome
Who play the leading roles: Alexander Koch
What's it about: Based on Stephen King’s bestselling novel, "Under the Dome" is the story of a small New England town that’s suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by an enormous transparent dome. The town’s residents need to survive the deteriorating post-apocalyptic conditions while searching for answers to what this barrier is, where it came from, and how to make it go away.
When will it premiere: 24 June at CBS

Ray Donovan
Who play the leading roles: Liev Schreiber (X-Men Origins: Wolverine), Jon Voight (Lone Star)
What's it about: Ray Donovan, a professional "fixer" for the rich and famous in LA, can make anyone's problems disappear except those created by his own family.
When will it premiere: 30 June at Showtime

Camp (2013)
Who play the leading roles: Rachel Griffiths (Brothers & Sisters)
What's it about: Little Hawk Family Camp is a wicked slice of lake-side heaven. Parents decompress with gin while teenagers make gleeful mischief and fall in and out of love. Little Hawk Family Camp - where mother nature and human nature collide.
