New series for the 2013-2014 tv season (latest update: 13th of May)

'Pilot season' was already in progress, but slowly the networks are starting to announce which pilots were good enough to be ordered to a complete series by the American networks. It's still to early to announce premiere dates, but they will start airing starting fall season. Below I will categorize the series that have a 'go' by network. Because the series are still in there starting fase they are not (all) yet to be found yet on our site. They will be added when more information sees the light. Series that have been already picked up, like The Originals, will not be included in this list.

Title: The Tomorrow People
The story: It’s the story of several young people from around the world who represent the next stage in human evolution, possessing special powers, including the ability to teleport and communicate with each other telepathically. Together they work to defeat the forces of evil. Based upon the original UK series created by Roger Price.

Title: The 100

Title: Crisis

Title: Ironside (2013)

Title: The Michael J. Fox Show
The story: Loosely based on Michael J Fox’s real life, a husband and father of three in New York City deals with family, career, and challenges – including Parkinson’s disease.

Title: Chicago PD (Chicago Fire spin-off)
The story: The Chicago Fire spinoff revolves around two different groups: Uniformed patrol cops and the Intelligence Unit, the team that combats the city's street major offenses. Leading the Intelligence team is Sergeant Hank Voight (Jason Beghe), a man not against skirting the law in the pursuit of justice. Demanding and tough, only those who can take the heat survive under Voight’s command. Take Detective Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda) -- despite his troubled history with his boss, Dawson has ambitions of running the unit … so if that means facing off against Voight every day, he’ll persevere. From the street cops with dreams of moving up to the elite crew who are already in, “life on the job” is a daily challenge. The enormous responsibilities that come with the territory take an emotional toll, as we’ll find when we follow the personal lives of our characters outside the walls of District 21.

Title: Dads

Title: Us and Them (eerder werd dit Friends and Family genoemd)
The story: The original UK series, created by Corden and Jones, chronicled the long-distance relationship between a man from England and a woman from Wales who start off talking on the phone. They eventually decide to meet, and hit it off — but must navigate their eccentric families and friends. The U.S version will focus on the key life moments of the title characters, who try to maintain their relationship while combining their polarizing families’ lives. Based on UK series Gavin & Stacey.

Title: Surviving Jack (eerder werd dit I Suck at Girls genoemd)

Title: Gang Related

Title: Rake
