Kristen Bell-Adam Brody comedy series for Netflix gets title and premiere date

Netflix has released a title, premiere date and first photo for the upcoming comedy series starring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody
Erin Foster's series, formerly known as Untitled Erin Foster Show, is now titled Nobody Wants This. You can check out a first photo of Bell and Brody below. Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria announced the news last week during the channel's Upfront presentation in New York City.

15397 Nobody Wants This

Nobody Wants This is a comedy series about the unlikely relationship between an outspoken, agnostic woman, Joanne (Bell), and an unconventional rabbi, Noah (Brody).

“This show is based on the only good decision I ever made: falling for a nice Jewish boy. But I realized that being happy is way harder than being miserable (there’s nothing to complain about). So, I created this show based on all the ways that finding the right person can be so hard. Nobody Wants This, but we do, and that’s all that matters.”

The cast also includes Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, Stephanie Faracy, Tovah Feldshuh, Paul Ben-Victor, Michael Hitchcock, Jackie Tohn, Sherry Cola and Shiloh Bearman.

Additionally, Emily Arlook joins in a recast, recurring role as Rebecca, Noah's "perfect" Jewish girlfriend who "did everything right" to get him to propose.

Foster is the creator and co-showrunner with Craig DiGregorio. Foster and DiGregorio produce along with Steven Levitan, Kristen Bell, Sara Foster, Danielle Stokdyk, Jeff Morton and Jack Burditt.

Oly Obst is executive producer for 3arts. The series is produced for Netflix by 20th Television in association with Steven Levitan Productions.

Nobody Wants This premieres on the streamer on Thursday, September 26.
