Otto is 26 and has his life together. Or at least he thinks so. When his first love Boris dumps him and his best friend Lente leaves their beloved Brussels, he is left full of doubts and questions. He decides to fill his heart with fleeting love and searches for his place within the vibrant Brussels queer scene. With his online alter ego in his pocket, he dives into a world full of nocturnal escapades, gay bars and self-discovery.
The ensemble cast includes Jonathan Michiels (Hawa & Adam) as Otto, Jennifer Heylen (Northern Lights) as Lente, Gijs de Corte (Assizes) as Boris, Flor van Severen (F*** you Very Very Much) and Emilie de Roo (Uncles).
The series was created and directed by Stijn van Kerkhoven, who makes his directorial debut. He found inspiration for the series in his own life and environment. The screenplay was written by the talented duo Emiel van Wouwe (Splinter) and Ditte Jacoby.

Oh, Otto! is a production by Peter Bouckaert and Annabel Kemel for Eyeworks – the production house behind series such as Styx, frequent Ensor winners 1985, De twelve and Chantal – and Streamz.

The recordings of Oh, Otto! will start in Brussels in October 2024, the series will be shown on Streamz in 2025.
