Last September, High Wire was published by Fox (pictured), an acclaimed Australian crime novelist. The story takes readers on a thrilling journey through the Australian wilderness and centers on Harvey Buck, a former soldier who races against the clock to reach his dying girlfriend.

Along the way he encounters Clare Holland, a traveler who is stranded after her car breaks down. By offering her a ride, Harvey unwittingly plunges them both into a nightmare. They are ambushed by a vengeful gang and forced to don bomb vests to complete a series of dangerous missions while something could explode at any moment.

Fox is the author of nine solo novels, three of which have won Australia's prestigious Ned Kelly Award. She is also a regular collaborator with James Patterson and all seven of their novels combined are New York Times bestsellers. Previously, her Crimson Lak series was adapted into Troppo, a series for ABC Television, starring Thomas Jane and Nicole Chamoun.

Scott Free recently produced Scott's Gladiator II, which grossed more than $461 million worldwide, as well as Alien: Romulus and the Apple series Prime Target starring Leo Woodall. The company is currently prepping Scott's post-apocalyptic novel The Dog Stars, starring Jacob Elordi, Margaret Qualley, Josh Brolin and Guy Pearce.

The company also has Apple projects such as Echo Valley and Dope Thief on the agenda, as well as the series Alien: Earth and Blade Runner 2099.
