Emma Corrin and Jack Lowden Cast in Netflix Miniseries Pride and Prejudice

In addition to Corrin and Lowden, Olivia Colman will also star in the film adaptation of Jane Austen's beloved novel. Netflix has greenlit a six-episode limited series based on Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Emma Corrin, Jack Lowden and Olivia Colman will star in the series from writer Dolly Alderton and director Euros Lyn. BBC Studios' Lookout Point will produce the series, which begins filming in the UK later this year.



Corrin (pictured) plays Elizabeth Bennet, the intelligent and unconventional second daughter of the Bennet family. Lowden plays Mr. Darcy, the wealthy, gruff member of the gentry whose romance with Elizabeth fuels the story. Oscar and Emmy winner Colman plays Mrs. Bennet, Elizabeth's mother.

Lowden (pictured) stars as River Cartwright in Apple TV+’s Slow Horses and appeared in the BBC/Paramount+ drama series The Gold. Corrin played Diana, Princess of Wales in the fourth season of Netflix’s The Crown and had a leading role in the FX on Hulu miniseries A Murder at the End of the World. Colman also appeared in The Crown, playing Queen Elizabeth II. She has also appeared in Netflix’s Heartstopper and FX on Hulu’s The Bear.

Netflix previously adapted Austen's Persuasion into a feature film in 2022, starring Dakota Johnson. The streamer is also adapting John Steinbeck's East of Eden into a limited series, starring Florence Pugh, Christopher Abbott, Mike Faist and Hoon Lee.
