True crime documentary Sin City Gigolo: A Murder in Las Vegas coming soon to Streamz

The three-part documentary Sin City Gigolo: A Murder in Las Vegas follows the true story of Ash Armand and Herleen Durai.
Ash Armand was once seen as one of the stars in the reality series Gigolos, but in 2020 he ended up in a completely different light. Gigolos followed the extravagant lives of five male escorts in Las Vegas. On June 27, 2020, his girlfriend was killed and Ash Armand was arrested for murder.

Herleen Dulai, Armand's girlfriend, was 29 years old and worked as a personal trainer. She and Armand had eaten mushrooms together that same evening at his home in Las Vegas. Armand claimed afterwards that he could not remember anything about that evening.
When the police arrived, they found Herleen seriously injured and unconscious in the bedroom. She had several fractures and signs of suffocation and died at the scene. The autopsy later showed that she had died from serious injuries and strangulation.

Armand was arrested for murder and eventually pleaded guilty. He said it was not intentional manslaughter, but was still sentenced to 8 to 20 years in prison in Nevada. The exact length of time he will be in prison depends on his behavior in prison, combined with other external factors.

Gigolos was an American reality series that aired on Showtime from 2011 to 2016. The series followed five male escorts in Las Vegas and showed how they live and interact with each other and their clients. The series caused a lot of controversy for a long time because of the explicit images and the theme of the series. After the Ash Armand scandal, the series received a lot of attention again. What made an ex-reality star, who always spoke about positivity and calm, capable of doing something so terrible? Former colleagues from Gigolos, friends, family members and police tell their side of the story in the new documentary.
