The new midseason series introduced

Fall season is about to end and most series are broadcasting their fall finales; that means that midseason's going to start and that we can expect a lot of new series. Which ones? Read on below! Only the series with a known premiere date have been included.

January
7 January: Killer Women
Of all the notorious lawmen who ever patrolled the violent Texas frontier, none are more storied than the Texas Rangers. But being a female ranger in this elite squad isn’t going to stop ballsy and badass Molly Parker. She is committed to finding the truth and seeing justice served. She’s even willing to break some rules to get it done. While she’s surrounded by lawenforcement colleagues who want to see her fail, there are those within the Rangers who have her back including her boss, Company Commander Luis Zea. Molly also has the support of her loving family including her brother Billy and his wife Becca. On the verge of getting divorced from her smarmy husband Jake, Molly relishes her newfound freedom even as she begins an affair with a sexy, dangerously handsome DEA agent, Dan Winston.




8 January: Chicago PD
A riveting police drama about the men and women of the Chicago Police Department's District 21 who put it all on the line to serve and protect their community. District 21 is made up of two distinctly different groups: the uniformed cops who patrol the beat and gohead-to-head with the city's street crimes and the Intelligence Unit that combats the city's major offenses - organized crime, drug trafficking, high profile murders and beyond. The vast responsibilities that these jobs entail extend far beyond the walls of the precinct, often taking an emotional toll on personal lives of these men and women.




9 January: The Spoils of Babylon
The six-part dark comedy — created by Matt Piedmont and Andrew Steele — is the bizarre adaptation of a non-existent novel penned by fictional author Eric Jonrosh. The show follows a dysfunctional family of oil tycoons led by Jonas Morehouse.His children, played by Kristen Wiig and Tobey Maguire, are set to inherit the fortune if they can fight their forbidden love for each other.




10 January: Enlisted
Centers on Sgt. Pete Hill who, after a stint in Afghanistan, is stationed at a small military base in Florida to tackle the toughest job of them all leading his dysfunctional brothers' squad.




10 January: Helix
Helix is an intense thriller about a team of scientists from the Centers for Disease Control who travel to a high-tech research facility in the Arctic to investigate a possible disease outbreak, only to find themselves pulled into a terrifying life-and-death struggle that holds the key to mankind’s salvation or total annihilation.




12 January: True Detective
The lives of two detectives, Rust Cohle and Martin Hart, become entangled during a 17-year hunt for a serial killer in Louisiana.




13 January: Bitten
Bitten is an emotionally charged thriller that follows reluctant heroine Elena Michaels, the world’s only female werewolf, who is forced to take on life-threatening responsibilities, in a male dominated world. The werewolves are monitored by The Pack, a powerful, organizedwerewolf family based in the grand manor of Stonehaven, the place where Elena’s life as a werewolf began.




13 January: Intelligence (2014)
Focuses on a unit inside U.S. Cyber Command that has been created around one agent with a very special gift — a microchip that has been implanted in his brain that allows him to access the entire electromagnetic spectrum.




19 January: Looking
The series revolves around three friends in San Francisco who explore the fun and sometimes overwhelming options available to a new generation of gay men.




23 January: Rake (2014)
The series follows the chaotic and comedic life of criminal defense lawyer Keegan Joye. Brilliant, frustratingly charming, and with zero filter, Keegan is one of life’s great addicts. His staggering lack of discretion and inability to self-censor land him the cases that nobody else wants, but behind that lies a resolute optimism and belief in justice that fuel his doggeddetermination to defend those who seem beyond redemption. In addition to Keegan’s cases within the justice system, the show follows his personal trials and tribulations, including his ongoing battle against the IRS, his mounting debt to his bookie, overlapping affairs and liaisons with women, a hormonal son, an exhausted ex-wife and the evolving relationship between his two married best friends. 25 January: Black Sails
This pirate adventure centers on the tales of Captain Flint and his men, and takes place twenty years prior to Robert Louis Stevenson's classic Treasure Island.




February
1 February: Crossbones
It's 1715 on the Bahamian island of New Providence, the first functioning democracy in the Americas, where the diabolical pirate Edward Teach, a.k.a. Blackbeard, reigns over a rogue nation of thieves, outlaws and miscreant sailors.

3 February: Crisis
Emotionally charged action thriller set in and around the world of Washington DC. It follows an idealistic Secret Service agent who finds himself at the epicenter of an international crisis on his first day on the job. He will need to cross moral and legal lines as he navigates the highest levels of power and corruption on his search for the truth.




26 February: Mixology
Mixology is an American comedy series on ABC. The series premiered February 26 2014. Set in the world of a sexy Manhattan bar, the high-concept comedy chronicles the exploits of singles in search of love — all over the course of one night.




March
9 March: Resurrection
What happens when the people you have mourned and buried suddenly appear on your doorstep as if not a day’s gone by? The lives of the people of Aurora are forever changed when their deceased loved ones, return. Based on a novel by Jason Mott.




11 March: Mind Games (2014)
Provocative workplace ensemble centers on relationship between two brothers — a bipolar genius in human psychology and a slick ex-con — who head a unique agency designed to solve their clients’ problems using the real science of human motivation and manipulation. In addition to helping clients, agency staff sometimes use their skills to manipulate each another.
