Marco Polo will get sequel, Netflix announces premiere dates of other series

Netflix has renewed ‘Marco Polo’ with a second season of ten episodes. ‘Marco Polo’s second season will also be broadcast worldwide at Netflix. The adventures of explorer ‘Marco Polo’ are set in the China of A.D. 1201 to 1300. The series is described as a series with action, adventure, political intrigue and war, this in combination with a smooth storyline. The cast members are Lorenzo Richelmy, Benedict Wong, Joan Chen, Zhu Zhu, Chin Han, Olivia Cheng, Tom Wu, Remy Hii Mahesh Jadu, Claudia, Uli Latukefu, Kim and Rick Yune.

Netflix has also announced upcoming premiere dates for the following new original series, all of which will be available globally upon release in all territories where Netflix is available.

Bloodline is a dramatic thriller that explores the demons lurking beneath the surface of a contemporary American family. The Rayburns are hard-working pillars of their Florida Keys community. But when the black sheep son comes home for the 45th anniversary of his parents' hotel, he threatens to expose the Rayburns' dark secrets and shameful past, pushing his siblings to the limits of family loyalty. The premiere will be on Friday 20 March 2015.

Daredevil ; Blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the Super Hero ‘Daredevil’ in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. The premiere is on Friday 10 April 2015.

Grace and Frankie In this irreverent and touching series, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin star as ‘Grace and Frankie’, a pair of frenemies whose lives are turned upside down – and permanently intertwined – when their husbands leave them for each other. Together, they must face starting over in their 70s in a 21st century world. The premiere will be on Friday 8 May 2015.

Netflix continues to expand options for families and kids, working with some of the best creative minds in the space to bring high quality, global animation and live-action series to kids of all ages. In the coming weeks, Netflix will launch new titles including DreamWorks Animation’s ’The Adventures of Puss in Boots’ premieres on Friday 16 January 2015. ’Ever After High: Spring Unsprung’ premieres on Friday 6 February 2015 and the second season of the hit series Mako Mermaids will premiere on Friday 13 February 2015.
