Netflix brings comedy series Country comfort

Netflix has announced that Country Comfort - a comedy - will go into production in the short term. Country Comfort is a multi-camera series, created by Caryn Lucas (The Nanny). Ten episodes will be made for now. When her career and personal life derail, a young aspiring country singer named Bailey (played by Katharine McPhee) takes a job in the series as a babysitter with a rugged cowboy named Beau (played by Eddie Cibrian) and his five children.

With her energy and charm, this new babysitter is able to get along well with the family and be the mother figure they have missed. To her surprise, Bailey also gets the chance to resume her singing career in this musically talented family, which helps her on her way to possible stardom.

Katharine McPhee has previously appeared in Smash and Family Guy. Eddie Cibrian previously played in Take Two and Rosewood. The director of Country Comfort is Kelly Park (Family Reunion, Alexa & Katie).
