Role for Katheryn Winnick in thriller series The Big Sky from ABC

ABC is working on the thriller series The Big Sky. The series is written by David E. Kelley and is based on The Highway, the first book from the Cassie Dewell book series by C.J. Box Actress Katheryn Winnick, known for her portrayal of Lagertha from Vikings, gets a leading role in The Big Sky. In the series, private detective Cassie Dewell (Ryan Phillippe) works with former agent Jenny Hoyt (Katheryn Winnick) to find two sisters who have been abducted by a truck driver on a remote Montana highway. When they discover that these are not the only girls who have disappeared in the area, they have to race against the clock to stop the killer before another woman is taken.
