Jerusalem's Lot to be turned into series called Chapelwaite for Epix

Together with Adrien Brody, Emily Hampshire will play the lead role in the new Epix drama series based on a short story by Stephen King.
Emily Hampshire (Schitt Creek) will take on the female lead in the new series opposite Adrien Brody (Peaky Blinders). The series is set in 1850 and will go into production in Halifax, Nova Scotia this April. The intention is to have the series premiere in the fall of 2020.

Chapelwaite revolves around Captain Charles Boone (Brody, photo ) who moves his family with three children to his ancestral home in the small, seemingly sleepy town of Preacher's Corners, Maine after his wife dies at sea.

Hampshire ( photo ) will portray Rebecca Morgan, an ambitious woman who left Preacher's Corners to go to Mount Holyoke College and has returned with an advance to write a story for the new and prestigious Atlantic Magazine. The series is executive produced by Donald De Lin (Wayward Pines) alongside showrunners Jason and Peter Filardi.
