Two new FOX series expected to release in fall

FOX will have at least two new drama series as part of their upcoming fall schedule.
“Aside from the sports schedule, which is starting to take shape, our entertainment schedule in the fall looks incredibly stable thanks to a large amount of our programming already being filmed and edited and, to use an entertainment phrase, ‘in the can,” Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch reported to Deadline. Allegedly, new series such as Filthy Rich (US) and NeXt are planned for the upcoming fall schedule.

Last year May, FOX announced that they were developing Filthy Rich (US). Kim Cattrall (Sex and the City) will portray the lead character. In Filthy Rich (US), the patriarch of an incredibly rich family dies during a plane crash. His wife and family discover that he had three other children, who are also part of his will.

NeXt revolves around the brilliant but paranoid former tech CEO Paul Leblanc (John Slattery, Mrs. America), who joins a Homeland Cybersecurity Agent (Fernanda Andrade, Here and Now) and her team to stop the first artificial intelligence crisis of the world.

Production on animated series has hardly felt the hit of the coronavirus. Murdoch has revealed that during next fall The Simpsons, Bless the Harts, Bob's Burgers and Family Guy will have new seasons.
