Bill Skarsgård will portray notorious Swedish criminal in upcoming Netflix series Clark

Bill Skarsgård (Castle Rock) will portray Clark Olofsson, a notorious Swedish robber and smuggler who started his crime career in the 60s.

The series will be based on Olofsson's autobiography. Olofsson gave a new dimension to the term Stockholm syndrome, when during a failed robbery in 1973 the hostages developed a bond with the hostage taker. The series will be directed by Jonas Åkerlund and produced by Scandinavian Content Group. Fredrik Agetof, Peter Arrhenius and Jonas Åkerlund will write the story. It hasn't been revealed when the series will release on Netflix.
