Percy Jackson series in production at Disney+
Disney+ is working on a small-screen adaptation of the Percy Jackson book series from Rick Riordan.
Rick Riordan, the author of the books, and his wife announced on Twitter that Disney+ is working on a small-screen adaptation of his books. Several movie adaptations were already made, but that series was cancelled after the second movie. Disney+ will now attempt a series. Each season will revolve around one of the five books. No further details regarding the series have been revealed.
The book series revolves around the twelve-year-old Percy Jackson, who finds out that he is the sun of the Greek god Poseidon. His books have been translated into 42 languages and sold more than 30 million copies just in the US.
