Des starring David Tennant from ITV has been internationally sold

The British drama series Des, which features David Tennant (Broadchurch) in the lead role has sold its international distribution rights to various streaming services and networks.
In Des, David Tennant (Broadchurch) can be seen as the British serial killer Dennis Nilsen. The series shows Nilsen from the moment of his arrest till his trial and is based on the book Killing For Company from Brian Masters. Luke Neal wrote the first two episodes and Lewis Arnold the third. Next to Tennant, the cast further consists of Jason Watkins (The Crown) and Daniel Mays (Line of Duty).

The ITV miniseries has been taken over by C More Entertainment in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. The Belgian VRT, the Icelandic Siminn hf, the Nordic TV2 and the Irish Virgin Media Television have bought the distribution rights. In the United States, Canada and the Caribbean, the series has been taken over by Sundance Now from AMC Networks. In Latin America, DIRECTV has taken over, in Australia STAN and in New-Zealand TVNZ.
