Terrence Howard will be part of the upcoming series Delta Blues

Terrence Howard (Empire) will not quit acting as he is working on Delta Blues, an upcoming new series. The series is owned by Zero Gravity Management (Ozark).

Despite the fact that Terrence Howard announced his intention to quit acting, he is currently working on a new series, called Delta Blues. Howard will direct the series, which will be his directorial debut. “I am committed to telling the truths of the times, even the uncomfortable truths.”, he told American media. Next to that, Evan Ross (Wicked City) will portray one of the main characters.

The series is based on true events and will tell the story of W.C. Handy, who is seen by some as the founder of the Blues. It is not yet known who will portray W.C. Handy. He will not be portrayed by either Howard or Ross.
