HBO orders Somebody Somewhere starring Bridget Everett

HBO has ordered Somebody Somewhere. The series is based on the life of Bridget Everett (Unbelievable), who is going to portray the main character herself. HBO has ordered a new comedy. The series - which is named Somebody Somewhere - has been inspired on the life of comedian and singer Bridget Everett (Unbelievable). Everett and her band, The Tender Moments, regularly perform in front of full theatres.

The series revolves around Sam, portrayed by Everett, who is able to reconnect with herself through music. Somebody Somewhere takes place in the birth town of Everett In Kansas. “As a born and bred Kansan, I’m thrilled to share some of the beauty and complexity of the place that I grew up,” said Everett. Carolyn Strauss (Chernobyl), Patricia Breen (Big Love), Mark Duplass (Room 104) and Jay Duplass (Room 104) will serve as executive producers, among others.
