Drama series Repeat back in production at CBS

Repeat from Masi Oka (Hawaii Five-0) and Sabrina Wind (Desperate Housewives) has continued its production at CBS. The series is based on a Japanese format.

The project was started by Masi Oka (Hawaii Five-0) and Sabrina Wind (Desperate Housewives). David Hayter (The Flash (2014)) was supposed to write the series. Eventually, a decision was made not to create a pilot but CBS remained enthusiastic about the project and has thus decided to start the production process.

David Zabel ( ER) will instead write Repeat and will also serve as executive producer. Oka and Wind will also become executive producers of the series. Repeat is based on the award-winning book with the same name by Kurumi Inui and the series from 2018, which aired on Yomiuri Television in Japan.

Repeat revolves around a group of strangers who mysteriously travel ten months back in time. This provides them with the opportunity to restore their mistakes and improve their lives. It doesn't take long for them to figure out that time-travelling has some unexpected - and sometimes even deadly - consequences.
