Zack Stentz writes series adaptation of The Island of Dr. Moreau

There's going to be a series adaptation of the classic novel The Island of Dr. Moreau by H.G. Wells. The series, which will be called Moreau, comes from Zack Stentz. Dust, the sci-fi department of Gunpowder & Sky, will be adapting the book The Island of Dr. Moreau by H.G. Wells into a series. The book is seen as a direct inspiration for the science fiction genre. It influenced a lot of other productions. Zack Stentz (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) will be writing the series adaptation and will create a modern version of the story. The series will be called Moreau. It is not yet known when the series is set to release.

Moreau will tell the story of the world-famous scientist Dr Jessica Moreau. She has some groundbreaking discoveries on the area of genetic manipulation. With that, she draws the attention of a billionaire who is willing to risk everything in order to achieve the next step in human evolution.
