Apple TV+ orders WeCrashed featuring Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto

Apple TV+ has ordered a series called WeCrashed. It is based on the popular podcast WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork.

Last month, there were some speculations about Jared Leto (My So-Called Life) portraying one of the lead characters in WeCrashed, which has been ordered by Apple TV+. That has now been confirmed. He and Anne Hathaway (Modern Love) will portray the lead characters. Next to that, they will also both serve as executive producer. The series is based on the podcast with almost the same name.

WeCrashed revolves around the greedy arrival and inevitable downfall of WeWork, one of the worlds most valuable startups. It also tells the story of the narcissists whose chaotic love made it all possible. The series has been written by Lee Eisenberg (SMILF) and Drew Crevello, who have both been appointed showrunners. John Requa (This Is US) and Glenn Ficarra (This Is US) will be directing the episodes.
