New comedy series at ABC

GLAAD-Award nominee Alec Mapa will join the cast of a yet to be named comedy on ABC. Next to Alec Mapa (Doom Patrol), Alec Baldwin and Kelsey Grammer (Frasier) will also be part of the yet to be named comedy, which is produced by Modern Family producers Chris Lloyd and Vali Chandrasekaran of the Studio 20th Television.

The new ABC series follows Andre (Mapa), Channing (Baldwin) and London (Grammer). In their twenties, they were roommates. However, more often than not their egos clash, which eventually drove them apart. Now, decades later, they give each other another chance in the hope of living their lives to the fullest.

Alec Mapa portrays Andre, a gay man with a highly empathic character. When things get rowdy between Channing and London, Andre is there to calm things down. At the same time, Andre is also looking for romantic and professional success, which hasn't been a big success so far.

Production is in the hands of 20th Television, which is part of Disney TV Studios. Next to Chris Lloyd and Vali Chandrasekaran, Jason Schrift, Matt DelPiano, Tom Russo, Adam Griffin and Jeff Morton are also part of the production.
