AppleTV+ brings British comedy series Still Up

Comedy series Still Up is coming to AppleTV+. The series features Antonia Thomas, Craig Roberts, and Blake Harrison, amongst others.
Antonia Thomas (photo below) is especially well-known due to her portrayal of Dr. Claire Browne from The Good Doctor. In this series, she was part of the main cast during the first four seasons. In the fifth season, she had a guest role. During the last year, Thomas had a role in the British crime series Suspect, a series that is based on the Danish Forhøret. It features James Nesbitt in the lead.

Craig Roberts was part of the Prime Video dramedy series Red Oaks. He also had roles in the British supernatural dramedy series Being Human and the British teenage drama Skins (2007).

Blake Harrison portrayed the role of Sgt. Stan Raddings in the British war drama World on Fire. He also has a lot of guest roles as part of his credits. For instance, he played in a 2021 episode of Doctor Who and has briefly been part of Hulu's historical dramedy The Great, featuring Elle Fanning and Nicholas Hoult.

Deadline revealed more about the plot of the Apple TV+ series:

"Still Up follows the exploits of Lisa (Thomas), an impulsive and free-spirited aspiring illustrator whose questions over her daughter’s future start keeping her up at night, and the socially anxious yet gifted journalist Danny, played by Roberts. The pair have no secrets, except their feelings for each other, and while the world sleeps they spend their long nights talking despite never meeting."

The rest of the cast includes Lois Chimimba (Shetland), Luke Fetherston (Flowers in the Attic: The Origins), Rich Fulcher (Kidding), and Sam Spiro (Sex Education). The comedy series is executive produced by Paul Schlesinger (Boomers) and Phil Clarke (I May Destroy You).

The series is currently filming in London and a premiere date will be announced later.
