Hulu orders conversations with friends

Hulu has ordered Conversations with Friends, which is based on a book from Sally Rooney. Hulu has previously adapted the book Normal People, which was also written by Sally Rooney.

Last April, Normal People premiered on Hulu. This series was also based on a book with the same name from Sally Rooney. The streaming service has ordered a new series, which is also based on a book from Rooney. This new series will have the same name as the book; Conversations with Friends.

Hulu has ordered twelve episodes alongside the BBC. Lenny Abrahamson (Normal People) will direct the series and Alice Birch (Normal People) will write it. The story follows two female students in Dublin, who enter an unexpected, strange and sexual relationship with an older couple. This leads to complicated issues.
