Each episode had its own visual language in an animation by Visuals Internationals and its own soundtrack by Melawati. The three episodes were narrated by Peter Van den Begin in episode 1, Gene Bervoets in episode 2 and Liesa Van der Aa in episode 3 with voice direction by WeHearDifferent.

The second season of Nonkels was written by Jelle De Beule, Floris Schillebeeckx and Rik Verheye and directed by Jelle Gordyn in a production by FBO for PlayMedia and Streamz.
Jelle De Beule, Rik Verheye and Wim Willaert are the Nonkels, Isabelle van Hecke, Emilie De Roo and Blaise Afonso their other halves. Silke Thorrez and Manu Van Acker have also been there for two seasons, together with newcomer Assa Sylla and Wim Opbrouck.
The film SKUNK won 2 Ensors: Best Film and Best Make-up - Evalotte Oosterop.
The film Holy Rosita won 5 Ensors: Best Music - David Martijn, Best Art Direction - Toon Mariën, the Telenet Audience Award, Best Acting Performance in Leading Role - Film supported by PlayRight - Daphne Agten and Best Acting Performance in Supporting Role - Film - Mieke De Groote.
