Series of the year election 2020 - Poll

Since 2012 MySeries has held an annual series of the year election. Our fantastic writers nominate 10 series for every one of the 15 categories.

But every single year there is always that one category where people just aren't satisfied with the nominees. And even though the MySeries reader was already able to nominate series, it just isn't enough.

Now we have decided to publish a poll every month in which you can vote on 15 series that had a new season or premiered in that month. We will collect this data and include it in the nominations at the end of the year.

Every month we ask which of the fifteen series you would nominate. The possible category it could be part can be seen next to th ename. If nothing is added this month, then perhaps the following month. At the end of the year we will of course ask the reader again which series deserve a nomination.

The best three of each month will be published in the new poll the following month.

I just finished The Stranger on Netflix in two days. It can be streamed since January 30, but is unfortunately not included. A very good mini-series that I even give a 9 as a grade. Unfortunately I have not seen anything of the list in the poll.

There are only 15 spots on this list and there will certainly be a lot missing. Fortunately, at the end of the year, you can make your favorites known and then you can choose The Stranger and even more series that are unlikely to appear in the poll.

Watched The Stranger in two days. Another great TV series from one of my favorite authors Harlan Coben. Viewing tip: Coben is the creator of the British crime drama TV show The Five. Coben is also the creator of the French-British crime drama TV show Safe.

Whichever format you choose, there are always people who think that their favorite series belongs or find it unimaginable that series A has been chosen but series B, who then think they are good, not.

That's completely right. I have already had several reactions from people who wondered why 'their' series is not listed. But unfortunately we only have 15 places and there is at least double the series that comes out in the month. So people will always be disappointed. Unfortunately nothing can be done about that. But luckily they can make up for that in November by nominating their favorite series.
