Fred Willard passed away

American actor and comedian Fred Willard passed away at the age of 86. He was mainly known for his many supporting and guest roles in various movies and series. Fred Willard started his long career in 1966 with a small role in Pistols ´n´ petticoats, which eventually resulted in a long career filled with many supporting roles in a lot of movies and series. One of his most recent roles was that of Frank Dunphy in Modern Family. He was the father of Phil Dunphy. His death was revealed by his daughter, who mentioned that her father passed away peacefully last Friday. “He kept moving, working and making us happy until the very end. We loved him so very much. We will miss him forever.” His wife, Mary, who was a screenplay writer, passed away at the age of 71 two years ago.

Willard will still appear on Space Force, which is set to release on Netflix later this month. Various actors and tv personalities have said nice things about Willard on Twitter.
