Last Friday, actor and host Regis Philbin passed away due to natural causes. This year, he was still part of Single Parents.
Regis Philbin passed away at the age of 88. Next month, he would've turned 89. Last Friday, he passed away due to natural causes. His family reported this to American media. Philbin started his career as a host for a show in San Diego, and earlier this year he was still part of Single Parents.

Philbin was recently part of Fresh Off the Boat, Donny!, New Girl and Hot in Cleveland. In 1994, he also had a role in Seinfeld. Most people will most likely know him of his work as a host.

Since 1988, he presented Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee, which he quit after 23 years. After that, he was the host of The Morning Show, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and the first season of America's Got Talent. In 2004, he had spent more than 15,188 hours on television, which earned him a spot in the Guinness World Record book.
