From 2005 till 2014, Saget was prominently present in the comedy series How I Met Your Mother. He served as the voice-over for the old version of Ted Mosby. In 2016, Netflix made a spin-off to Full House, which was called Fuller House. Here, Saget once again portrayed Danny Tanner. That show ended in 2020.
Guards of the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Orlando, where Saget stayed, found the actor in his hotel room. In September 2021, Saget started with a new tour. He was planning to trek through the United States with his stand-up comedy show. On the 8th of January, the day before he was found, he performed one last time in Jacksonville, Florida. A couple of hours before his death, he released a Twitter post saying how much fun he had doing the aforementioned show.

How he died is still uncertain. The Orange County PD has revealed via Twitter that there doesn't appear to be a crime involved and that it's not drugs either.
The family of the deceased comedian and actor Bob Saget have made a statement regarding his unexpected death. This was reported by Entertainment Tonight: “We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today. He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter,” the Saget family told Page Six. “Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world.”
Saget leaves behind his wife Kelly Rizzo, with whom he married in 2018. He also has three daughters, Aubrey, Jennifer and Lara. He had these daughters with his first wife Sherri Kramer.
