Pilot The Horror of Dolores Roach has been ordered by Amazon Prime Video

Work has started on a series adaptation of the hit podcast The Horror of Dolores Roach. Amazon Prime Video has ordered a pilot episode of the new series. The series is based on the popular podcast with the same name by Aaron Mark. He has also written the script for the pilot episode. Roxann Dawson (Star Trek: Voyager) will direct the pilot and will also serve as executive producer.

Justina Machado (One Day at a Time (2017)) will portray the lead character in the new series. The story revolves around Dolores Roach (Machado), who is released after being in prison for sixteen years. When she returns, it turns out that her friend is missing, her family has vanished and her apartment is occupied by strangers. Dolores finds peace in the rundown shop window Empanada Loca, the only reminder of her previous life.
