CBS orders pilot episode from comedy series We The Jury

The American channel CBS has ordered a pilot from We The Jury, a comedy series by 9JKL creator Dana Klein. The series is written by Stephanie Darrow and produced by the British producer Big Talk Productions and CBS Television Studios. In We The Jury a group of jury members is followed in episodes of half an hour. They all have to agree on a verdict ... but they can't even agree on lunch.

We The Jury is based on a British format of the same name, made by stand-up comedian James Acaster. It was tested on BBC Two in the UK in 2016, but then only one episode came and no series followed. CBS Studios is now having the concept adjusted and hopes that the pilot will lead to a complete series.
