More revealed about actors in drama series The President is Missing

Showtime is working on a pilot of the drama series The President Is Missing, based on the book of former President Bill Clinton and James Patterson. It is a project by Christopher McQuarrie and Anthony Peckham. The pilot will be included this year. In The President Is Missing, a weak vice-president is suddenly named president of the United States, even though he doesn't feel like it. A life-threatening situation follows inside and outside the White House. He must decide whether he will remain president or decide to stop. The Clinton and Patterson book was published in 2018 and 2.3 million copies were sold in North America that year.

David Oyelowo (Spooks, Five Days) will play the lead role of Vice President Martin in the pilot, it was announced in October 2019. Paul Adelstein (Scandal), Medina Senghore (Happy!) And Gina Gallego (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) will also be featured in the series.

Paul Adelstein portrays Terry Pratt, Marin's chief of staff. He is smart, loyal and is constantly in crisis. Medina Senghore will portray Rachelle Martin, Martin's wife. She is well trained, involved and passionate, but she hates living in the business of Washington. Gina Gallego portrays Mrs. Aceves, Martin's assistant, a position with a lot of influence.
