Main role for Jack Cutmore-Scott in comedy pilot Jury Duty

Jack Cutmore-Scott will portray the lead character in Jury Duty from CBS, a comedy about a group of jury members who just can't agree with each other.
Jack Cutmore-Scott (Deception) portrays the main character in Jury Duty, a half-hour comedy pilot from 9JKL co-creator Dana Klein, writer Stephanie Darrow, producer Big Talk Productions and CBS Television studios.

In Jury Duty, a group of jurors are isolated until they all agree on the verdict. The members of the jury have so many different opinions that they cannot even agree on lunch. Cutmore-Scott portrays John "Hutty" Huttman, a charismatic leader and winner in heart and soul. Hutty is not happy that he has been appointed alternative jury member, so he decides to make it fun for himself.

The series is based on the British format We the Jury by comedian James Acaster, whose first pilot was broadcast on BBC Two. There are no more episodes broadcast from We the Jury. Klein, Darrow and Acaster serve as executive producers of the pilot episode.
