ABC decides fate of various pilots

ABC has decided to start production for five of the recorded pilots. Three more pilots will be used at a different time and some more will be left out altogether.
The alphabet network has decided to start production on Rebel, Harlem's Kitchen, Bossy (formerly known as Kids Matter Now), Home Economics and Work Wife as soon as the corona circumstances allow it. Adopted, National Parks Service (formerly known as ISB) and Triage will be saved for a later time.

The pilots of Prospect, Wreckage and the untitled Kapnek/Holland project (formerly known as Wild Child) have been called off. ABC has also decided to discontinue the pilots of Thirtysomething(else) - the sequel to Thirtysomething -, The Brides and Valley Trash. The final three were made by external studios. It is expected that Thirtysomething(else) and The Brides will be bought by a different network or platform.

Harlem's Kitchen revolves around the chef and patriarch Ellis Rice, who runs a successful gastronomic restaurant in Harlem with the help of his wife and three daughters. The future of the restaurant is in jeopardy when an unexpected death in the family occurs and reveals secrets that were hidden for quite some time.

Rebel is inspired by the life of Erin Brockovich. The series revolves around Annie "Rebel" Bello. She is a lawyer that hasn't been to law school. When Rebel focuses on a case where she believes in the cause, she is willing to do everything in order to win. Katey Sagal (Married With Children) and Andy Garcia (Flipped) will portray the main characters.

Katey Sagal

Bossy/Kids Matter Now revolves around a boss with diva behaviour who doesn't show any empathy towards working parents. She realizes the struggles when she adopts a baby, which turns her assistant - a mother of three - into an unlikely mentor.

Home Economics follows three adult brothers and sisters. One of them is part of the 1%, the other is part of the middle class and the third is struggling to make ends meet. Topher Grace will be part of this series.

The final series, Work Wife, revolves around Dani and Scott, who work in the business of property. They have started their own team and now feel the stress that comes with being in charge. More than ever they must have faith in their ability to lead to ensure that both their professional and personal lives stay on track. Inspired on the real-life partnerships from producers Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest and writers Casey Johnson and David Windsor.
