Apple TV+ reveals premiere date for Prime Target and releases first-look photos

Apple TV+'s conspiracy thriller series Prime Target will soon premiere, starring Leo Woodall and Quintessa Swindell.
Woodall stars as Edward Brooks, a brilliant young math graduate student on the cusp of making a big break. If he succeeds in finding a pattern in prime numbers, he will have the key to every computer in the world.

Soon he begins to realize that an invisible enemy is trying to destroy his idea before it is even born, which throws him into the orbit of Taylah Sanders (Swindell), a female NSA agent tasked with monitoring the behavior of mathematicians to monitor and report on it. Together they begin to unravel the disturbing conspiracy at the heart of Edward.

The cast also includes Stephen Rea, David Morrissey, Martha Plimpton, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Jason Flemyng, Harry Lloyd, Ali Suliman, Fra Fee and Joseph Mydell.

Prime Target is produced for Apple TV+ by New Regency in association with Ridley Scott's Scott Free Productions.

Writer and director Brady Hood (Great Expectations (2023)) directed all eight episodes and is also an executive producer. Gladiator II director Scott is executive producing alongside Marina Brackenbury, David W. Zucker, Ed Rubin, Beth Pattinson, Emma Broughton, Yariv Milchan, Arnon Milchan and Michael Schaefer. Series producer is Laura Hastings-Smith, who also serves as executive producer.

Prime Target can be streamed on Apple TV+ from Wednesday, January 22, 2025. The eight-episode series will kick off with the first two episodes, followed by one episode every Wednesday through March 5.
