FX says that "the series puts a slightly heightened spin on the triumphs, losses and humiliations of starting out in the adult world. Whether they're trying to get ahead at work, navigate the health care system, plan a dinner party or date in the age of Find My Friends, the group discovers that nothing in the real world is easy and that all their best intentions only make things worse."
Charlie Cox, Julia Fox, D'Arcy Carden, Grace Kuhlenschmidt, John Reynolds and Ray Nicholson will guest star in the first season.
“We’re so grateful to be telling this story about a group of friends navigating the hardest, horniest time of life together,” Kronengold and Shaw said in a joint statement last year after the show was picked up. “FX comedies have defined our generation, and we can’t wait to show them the consequences.”
Adults premieres Wednesday, May 28 with two episodes and will continue to air two episodes every Wednesday for three weeks. The full eight-episode season will be available May 29 on Hulu and FX on Demand.
