Here are the toppers of week 16:

We've handpicked five fresh series to spice up your weekend viewing. There's a chance a new favorite might sneak into your watchlist. So, grab your popcorn and get comfy! Our selection spans drama, police, medical, and crime genres.

Here are the toppers of week 16:

With a dot on number one: The Rookie!
"The Rookie," now in its thrilling eighth season, offers viewers plenty to enjoy! The series centers on John Nolan, a man in his forties who leaves his cozy small-town life behind to pursue his dream of becoming a police officer in Los Angeles. As a 'rookie' cop, he navigates the dangerous, humorous, and unpredictable challenges of the job, determined to make the most of his second chance at life.

The second place is taken by The Pitt.
Last week, fans of "The Pitt" were left hanging with no new episode, and the release date for the next one is still a mystery. This series offers a realistic glimpse into the challenges faced by healthcare workers in modern-day America, all seen through the eyes of the frontline heroes working in a contemporary hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

On the third place shines Flikken Maastricht.
Flikken Maastricht is now thrilling audiences in its 20th season, offering plenty of excitement! Initially, the ambitious and captivating detective Eva wants nothing to do with Floris Wolfs, the seasoned cop from Amsterdam who becomes her new partner. However, as the battle against crime intensifies in and around the stunning city of Maastricht, the two find themselves irresistibly drawn to each other.

Place four goes to FBI this week.
FBI is currently in its 8th season, offering fans plenty to indulge in! This gripping drama, produced by Dick Wolf, delves into the inner workings of the New York office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, promising intense and captivating storylines.

And on number five stands NCIS.
NCIS has been captivating audiences for an impressive 23 seasons, offering a thrilling ride with plenty to enjoy. The show follows a dynamic team of special agents working for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), tasked with unraveling crimes linked to the Navy. From mariner murders to espionage, and drug deals to assault cases, this crew handles it all with a distinctive, unorthodox flair. Unlike the forensic-heavy CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, NCIS places a spotlight on its characters and relationships, delivering a unique brand of humor and cinematography, including iconic black-and-white sequences. While the crimes themselves may not be intricately detailed, the series thrives on its character-driven narrative. Leading the charge is Special Agent Jethro Gibbs, alongside Caitlin Todd, Ziva David, Anthony DiNozzo, and Timothy McGee, with crucial support from forensic experts Dr. Donald Mallard and Abby Sciuto. The team navigates their challenges under the leadership of directors Tom Morrow, Jenny Shepard, and Leon Vance over the seasons.

Can we still call it a series when it has 62,728 seasons by now? This is American junk 🥲

The section about NCIS could use some adjustments.
It says: "The team consists of iconic characters such as Special Agents Jethro Gibbs, Caitlin Todd, Ziva David, Anthony DiNozzo, and Timothy McGee. They are supported by the forensic team with Dr. Donald Mallard and Abby Sciuto."
Of all the people mentioned here, only Tim McGee is still part of the current team. The rest have been gone for years or have even passed away.
But it remains a fun series to watch, even after 62,728 seasons ;-)
