NCIS: Los Angeles has been renewed with its thirteenth season by CBS. Next to that, the network has also ordered the spin-off NCIS: Hawaii. NCIS: Hawaii will fill in the hole that was left after the ending of
NCIS: New Orleans. The new spin-off will revolve around a female character. It is the first series in the franchise wherein the lead character is a woman. It is not yet known when the spin-off is set to premiere.
Earlier this year, CBS renewed NCIS and
various other popular police and legal shows. The network hadn't revealed anything about
NCIS: Los Angeles, till now. This series has also been renewed with another season. Supposedly, the announcement took a bit longer as various other deals had to be made.
