CBS renews comedies and more

CBS has renewed many series, including the American comedy The Neighborhood and two more. Undercover Boss has also been renewed.

CBS has announced that The Unicorn will be renewed with the second season. The first ended a couple of weeks ago. The series premiered last year. The Unicorn follows a new widower, who realises that he is unwilling to raise his two daughters on his own and thus starts dating once again.

Bob Hearts Abishola has also been renewed with the second season. The series premiered last September. Bob Hearts Abishola was the best-watched new comedy of CBS. The romantic dramedy revolves around Bob (Billy Gardell, Young Sheldon), a middle-aged businessman with heart problems. Unexpectedly, he falls in love with a nurse, who is a Nigerian immigrant. He does his best to build a nice relationship with her.

Another comedy series that has been renewed by CBS is The Neighborhood. It will receive a third season. The series follows the nicest man in the Middle-West, who moves with his family to a tough neighbourhood in L.A. Not everyone there appreciates his extreme 'neighbourliness', which includes the new neighbour boy Calvin.

Next to all the scripted comedy series, CBS has also renewed Undercover Boss, a reality series. The series will have an eleventh season. In this series, the boss of the company goes undercover in his own company to figure out how his employees work and what they have to deal with.
