ABC renews and cancels a lot of series

ABC has decided about the fate of many series. Eight scripted series have been renewed and four have been cancelled.

American Housewife has been renewed with a fifth season, Black-ish will have a seventh season and The Goldbergs (2013) has been renewed with an eighth season. A Million Little Things, The Conners and The Rookie will all have a third season, and Mixed-ish and Stumptown have been renewed with a second season.

Most of these renewals don't come as a surprise. The Conners and Goldbergs (2013) are among the top four comedies with the highest ratings on the network. The Rookie and A Million Little Things had acquired more than 10 million viewers within 35 days.

The Goldbergs (2013) has been renewed with an eighth eason

ABC has also decided to cancel a number of series. Emergence will end after its first season. Bless This Mess, Single Parents and Schooled have been cancelled after their second seasons. A decision has not yet been made regarding the new series For Life and The Baker and the Beauty. The Baker and the Beauty is currently still airing. ABC will probably make a decision about the series when the series has finished its run.

Schooled, a The Goldbergs (20130) spin-off, has been cancelled
