Sony Pictures Television is working on a sequel to Who's the Boss?. Part of the original cast will return. The new series will take place thirty years after the events of the original. The series revolves around Tony Micelli and his relation with his daughter Samantha. Tony has now retired and Samantha is now a single mom and lives in the same house of the original series.
In the sequel, original cast members Tony Danza and Alyssa Milano will return. They portrayed the main characters Tony and Samantha Micelli in the original series that released in 1984. Norman Lear will serve as executive producer, alongside Brent Miller, Dan Farah, Danzo and Milano.
