SyFy renews SurrealEstate and announces start dates of various series

SurrealEstate has been renewed for a third season by Syfy. In addition, start dates have been announced for several series. The Canadian drama series SurrealEstate follows real estate agent Luke Roman and an elite team of specialists who handle cases no one else can: haunted houses and possessed homes that literally scare away potential buyers. The team investigates, studies and 'fixes' the things that haunt the night and works to close down houses even as they struggle with their own demons.



Season two of SurrealEstate was cable's No. 2 original scripted series in the timeslot in both total viewers and the 18-49 demo.

The series has a colorful past. The series premiered in July 2021 on CTV Sci-Fi Channel and Syfy. In October of that year, series creator George Olsen said via Twitter that Syfy had canceled the series, but the following May 2022, Syfy changed its mind and the second season started in October 2023.

Syfy also announced return dates for three series.

The second half of Chucky season three begins Wednesday, April 10 at 10 p.m. Chucky has been placed with the most powerful family in the world - America's First Family, within the infamous walls of the White House. How did Chucky get here? What the hell does he want? And how can Jake, Devon and Lexy join Chucky in the most secure house in the world while balancing the pressures of romantic relationships and growing up?

Part one of season three was the most-watched season of any USA Network/SyFy series since 2021 in the 18-49 demo (971k).



The second season of Reginald The Vampire returns on Wednesday, May 8 at 10 p.m. In the new episodes, Reginald Andres finally got his life in order when he turned into a vampire. Although he doesn't fit the stereotypical expectations of what a vampire looks like—he's not chiseled or classically handsome—Reginald has found his place among an unlikely group that includes the cool vampire who fathered him, the former vampire leader who is an unexpected ally (or is she?) and his colleague/former girlfriend.

The Ark will return for a second season this summer. It is set 100 years in the future, when colonization missions have begun on planets to ensure the survival of the human race. The first of these missions, using a spaceship called Ark One, encounters a catastrophic event that causes massive destruction and loss of life. With more than a year to go before they reach their target planet, a lack of life-sustaining supplies and a loss of leadership, the remaining crew must become the best versions of themselves to stay on course and survive.

Season one of The Ark was Syfy's most-watched first series since 2021 in total viewers and adults 18-49.
