Dood Spoor is a tragicomic thriller series written by screenwriter Malin-Sarah Gozin, known for the series Tabula Rasa and Clan. Malin-Sarah directed the series, together with Hans Vercauter.
Peter Van den Begin takes on the leading role and plays Ed Bex, a man with an eating disorder: as soon as he puts something in his mouth, he sees what happened to it. He uses this special gift in his unusual job: with The Last Greeting he helps relatives to reconstruct the last hours of their loved one. When Inspector Adams finds a body in an airtight bag, he asks for Ed's help. Ed has doubts: does he want to use his gift in a murder case? When he does get stuck into the case, he becomes entangled in a mix of absurd situations, personal chaos and deep pangs of conscience.
We see Peter Van den Begin, Emilie De Roo, Ward Kerremans, Marjan De Schutter and Elise Schaap in the leading roles. The series is a co-production of Streamz and Play4 owned by Lompvis and Caviar.
Dood Spoor can be seen in its entirety on Streamz from Tuesday February 11 and later weekly on Play4 and GoPlay. The series will have its preview at the Ostend Film Festival on February 2.
True Crime Belgium: De Rioolmoord
On the night of August 11 to 12, 2002, 19-year-old Ellen Van de Wal met 31-year-old Danny Meersman in an Irish pub on the Grote Markt in Antwerp. After a short conversation, Meersman offered her a ride home to Wilrijk. Instead, he drove to a remote parking lot where he assaulted and strangled Ellen. He then dumped her body in a sewer in Willebroek, a location where he had previously worked. A trial never took place, as perpetrator Meersman committed suicide in his cell in January 2005.

The popular series Yellowjackets, created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson (Narcos), tells the story of a team of highly talented soccer girls who become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash in the remote northern wilderness. It is the start of a brutal battle for survival. The series follows their transition from a complicated but thriving team to wild clans, while also following their attempts to rebuild their lives almost 25 years later. But the past is never truly over and what began in the wilderness is far from ending. The ten-episode third season will pick up after the dramatic finale of the second season.
The cast of the series consists of an impressive mix of young talent and experienced actors. Some of the main cast include Melanie Lynskey as adult Shauna, Juliette Lewis as adult Natalie, Christina Ricci as Misty and Tawny Cypress as Taissa. Their younger versions are played by Sophie Nélisse, Sophie Thatcher, Sammi Hanratty and Jasmin Savoy Brown. Two-time Oscar winner Hilary Swank will join the all-star cast this season in a guest role, alongside Joel McHale.
The first two episodes of the third season of the Emmy-nominated drama series can be seen on Tuesday, February 18. After that, a new episode will be shown every Tuesday. The first two seasons of Yellowjackets can already be viewed on Streamz.

The documentary Lagerfeld: Ambitions explores Karl Lagerfeld's relationship with luxury, power and authority. The series delves into his background and a family history that Lagerfeld, who died four years ago, kept hidden all his life.

The prequel to Yellowstone (2018) returns for a second season. The story of 1923 centers on the Dutton family during the year that saw the Western Expansion, Prohibition, and the Great Depression. Jacob (Harrison Ford) and Cara (Helen Mirren) face a brutal winter on the ranch, with many new challenges. Under harsh conditions in Montana and with privateers like creditor Whitfield (Timothy Dalton) on the coast, Spencer (Brandon Sklenar) begins a race against time to get home to save his family. Meanwhile, Alexandra (Julia Schlaepfer) begins her own perilous journey across the Atlantic Ocean to find Spencer.
Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren return in the lead roles as the stubborn Jacob Dutton and his powerful wife Cara. Mirren was nominated for a Golden Globe and won a Satellite Award for her role in the series. Brandon Sklenar, Julia Schlaepfer, Timothy Dalton, Darren Mann, Aminah Nieves, Michelle Randolph and Jerome Flynn also reprise their roles for the upcoming season.
1923 is the second prequel in the Yellowstone (2018) universe, previously also released 1883 starring Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. All series in this universe were created by Oscar-nominated producer, writer and director Taylor Sheridan.
