CBS announces summer schedule

CBS is quick, they were the first to announce their summer schedule. Many reruns but ‘Zoo’ is new, ‘Big Brother’ is already on its 17th season, ‘Under the Dome’ is on its third season and ‘Extant’ will begin its second season this summer.

‘Zoo’ CBS’ new drama series is based on the novel with the same name by James Patterson. ‘Zoo’ tells the story about a wave of violent animal attacks on humans worldwide. As the attacks get more polished, coordinated and fierce, a young renegade biologist (James Wolk, The Crazy Ones) is the driving force in the race to unlock the mystery before there is no longer any place for people to hide.

‘Big Brother’ the reality TV series begins with a two-hour broadcast just like ‘Under the Dome’. Based on the novel of the same name by Stephen King, ‘Under the Dome’ tells the story of a small town that is suddenly closed off from the rest of the world by a huge dome. In the third season Emmy winner Marg Helgenberger will play a guest role.

In the second season of ‘Extant’ Molly, played by Oscar winner Halle Berry, discovers that she unwittingly has led humanity on a path to complete destruction and that a mysterious stranger J.B. Richter (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) might be the only hope for the survival of the human race.
