Three CW series will premiere or release a new season in May

The CW has announced the premiere date of one new series and the release dates for a new season of two returning series.

On the 12th of December a trailer was released for Stargirl. At that time it wasn't known when the series was going to be released. Now we can announce the premiere date of Stargirl, which revolves around Courtney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger), a smart, athletic and mostly kind girl.

But it's not just the first season of Stargirl for which we can announce a release date. We can also reveal the release date for the start of the final season of The 100 and we can announce the release date for the second season of Into the Dark (2019). The three series mentioned above will all start in May 2020.

This is the schedule* that was released by The CW:
