Glen Powell Becomes Chad Powers in Teaser for Hulu Comedy Series

Glen Powell suits up and takes to the field in the first teaser for the new Hulu series Chad Powers. The half-hour comedy series from co-creators Powell (pictured) and Michael Waldron follows hotshot quarterback Russ Holliday (Powell), whose bad behavior is ruining his college career, so he dons a disguise and joins a struggling Southern American football team as the talented, likable Chad Powers.



The short teaser gives a glimpse into Holliday's transformation, as he gets a second chance to make his dreams come true with the help of a wig and facial prosthetics.

“I got something coming up, and it’s something kind of big,” he said in the clip while speaking to an unknown person.

The series also stars Perry Mattfeld as Ricky, Quentin Plair as Coach Byrd, Wynn Everett as Tricia, Frankie A. Rodriguez as Danny and Steve Zahn as Jake Hudson.

Chad Powers is based on the sketch produced by NFL Films and Omaha Productions that aired on ESPN+ as part of the Eli's Places series, 20th Television's half-hour comedy show.
