Prime Video Reveals First Look at The Runarounds

The Runarounds is coming to Prime Video this fall, and the streamer has released first-look photos for the musical drama series.

Prime Video has released the first photos for The Runarounds, a new eight-part musical drama series premiering this fall. The series hails from Outer Banks co-creator Jonas Pate and promises to be a compelling mix of music, romance and coming-of-age drama.

The Runarounds follows a group of recent college graduates from Wilmington, North Carolina, who form a rock band the summer after graduation. Fueled by their shared love of music and a nearly impossible dream of fame, they risk everything to make it big. The summer brings romance, conflict, and close friendships that feel like family.

What makes the series special is that the lead roles are played by real musicians – William Lipton, Axel Ellis, Jeremy Yun, Zendé Murdock and Jesse Golliher – who also perform the original music in the series. This musical authenticity promises to give the series a unique atmosphere.

In addition to the five musicians, the series also stars Lilah Pate, Maximo Salas, Kelley Pereira, Marley Aliah, Mark Wystrach, Brooklyn Decker, Hayes MacArthur, and Shea Pritchard.
