Nick, Simon & Kees: Take a Chance on Me

Nick, Simon & Kees: Take a Chance on Me is a Dutch documentary which aired on NPO 1. The series premiered on April 30, 2021.

The trio of Volendam highlights the well-known pop group and goes back to the places that played a major role in the lives of the band members. They set out as documentary makers to find out the special stories about ABBA. They also speak with important people who can tell about the history of the Swedish group.

During the trip through Sweden, the people of Volendam discover more about the band (members), their music and the spirit of the times. For example, they visit the studios where ABBA recorded most of the songs and talk to friends of the band members. And is there perhaps even a meeting with the ABBA members themselves? As icing on the cake, Nick and Simon are giving the ABBA songs a new look.
