Night Court (2023) adds Wendie Malick to the third season cast

The NBC comedy series Night Court (2023) has cast Wendie Malick as new prosecutor Julianne Walters in season three. In Night Court (2023), met Melissa Rauch en John Larroquette in de hoofdrollen, treedt de eeuwig optimistische Abby Stone (Rauch) in de voetsporen van haar overleden vader, rechter Harry Stone, als ze de uitdaging aangaat om toezicht te houden op de nachtdienst van een rechtbank in Manhattan.

Abby ziet altijd het beste in mensen en haar passie voor gerechtigheid is onmiskenbaar. In haar zoektocht om orde en waardigheid te brengen in de rechtbank en de kleurrijke bende van buitenbeentjes in toom te houden, schakelt ze voormalig officier van justitie Dan Fielding in om te dienen als de openbare verdediger van de rechtbank.



Julianne (Malick, pictured) is new to most, but not to Dan (John Larroquette), her former love interest. She is described as "a reformed convict" who is "a refined, smart woman and skilled lawyer who knows how to get a spoonful of justice." She'll keep everyone in the courthouse on their toes. The position of public prosecutor had become vacant after India de Beaufort left the series at the end of May.

The third season of Night Court (2023) starts on Tuesday, November 19 in a new time slot at 8:30 PM.

Night Court (2023), from executive producer and writer Dan Rubin, is based on the original hit series that ran for nine seasons on NBC.

Executive producers are Melissa Rauch, Winston Rauch, John Larroquette, Mat Harawitz, Lon Zimmet, Lindsey Shockley and Mona Garcea. The series is produced by Rauch's After January Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.

Malick received four Cable Ace Awards for her role in the HBO comedy series Dream On, and received a Golden Globe and two Emmy Award nominations for her role in NBC's Just Shoot Me.

Other roles include NBC's Frasier, ABC's Jake in Progress, TV Land's Hot in Cleveland, CBS's Rush Hour, Netflix's The Ranch and Dear White People, and Apple TV+'s Physical and Shrinking.
