First look at season two of Nine Perfect Strangers shows Nicole Kidman in the Austrian Alps

Nicole Kidman—and a new group of strangers—head to another wellness resort in search of healing.

The second season of Nine Perfect Strangers is coming soon to Hulu, and the first images reveal the season's setting: Zauberwald in the Austrian Alps.

The official description reads: "Nine new strangers, connected in ways they never imagined, are invited by mysterious guru Masha Dmitrichenko (Kidman) to attend a transformative wellness retreat in the Austrian Alps. Over the course of a week, she takes them to the brink of disaster. Will they make it? And she? Masha is willing to try anything for the sake of healing everyone involved, including herself."

This season, the series features several new additions, including Henry Golding, Lena Olin, Annie Murphy, Christine Baranski, Lucas Englander, King Princess, Murray Bartlett, Dolly de Leon, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Mark Strong, and Aras Aydin.

Nine Perfect Strangers is based on the same book by Liane Moriarty. The first season in 2021 starred Kidman, Melissa McCarthy, Michael Shannon, and Samara Weaving. In 2022, sources reported that producers were eyeing a second season after it was submitted to the Emmys for continuing drama instead of an anthology or limited series.

Season two of Nine Perfect Strangers premieres on Hulu on Wednesday, May 21, starting with two episodes. New episodes will be released weekly thereafter.
